it's been to long + like always. i have had so many incredible experiences in the past two months i don't even know where to begin. if you are ever thinking about traveling, dare to go to the unknown. the eiffel tower + white sandy beaches + fancy restaurant in a huge city are always entertaining and must sees, but the real fun in traveling, at least for me, comes in seeing the hidden gems. the people and how they live. eating with chopsticks on a little plastic table while the chef cooks your food fresh about five feet away from a movable cart. walking the streets of a town till your feet are going to fall off, and finding a hidden temple or castle around an abandon corner. listening to an old man rave about his life back in the sixties. the world is like a box of your favorite cereal with a surprise toy hidden inside. you always know the cereal is going to taste delicious, but then you find the surprise toy and it just gets 10x better.... (awful analogy... but cereal might be on my cravings list at the moment). i have found so many secret wonders of the world that i didn't even know existed.
i could tell a million and one stories about the amazing things i saw + the laughs that made me cry + but sometimes you just have to let the pictures speak.
special thanks to all those that made my life a fairytale the passed couple months. i saw some tragedies from the typhoon, i learned more than i thought i ever could, and made some unforgettable memories.
